Colleagues at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, the Solihull based provider of consumer finance, have teamed together to support the launch of its Pride network to celebrate diversity and the benefits it brings to people both within and outside the workplace.
With 760 people across two UK sites, the company is committed to promoting and maintaining a diverse, inclusive and stimulating work environment where value is given to differences in thoughts, backgrounds and perspectives.
The Pride network is one of six employee networks created to enable people to develop and succeed and to ensure people are treated with dignity and respect. The company recognises and supports the diversity of all colleagues and wants to raise awareness on issues that can be faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people in the workplace and beyond.
The networks enable people to come together to discuss and share information and give practical advice. The power of the networks is down to the people and what they can achieve through collaborating with each other and networks linking up across BNP Paribas Group companies in the UK.
