BNP Paribas Personal Finance, the leading provider of consumer finance based in Solihull, will support 68 employees towards gaining either an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) or ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) qualification in the next 18 months.
The initiative will give supplementary training, skills and knowledge to BNP Paribas Personal Finance’s operational team members. Employees will receive monthly assessments to review their attainment in areas including customer service, sales, business administration and contact centre. BNP Paribas Personal Finance, one of Solihull’s largest employers with over 600 people based at its Chadwick House office, will partner with Intec Business Colleges to deliver this development programme.

The new vocational programme marks the latest employment boost for BNP Paribas Personal Finance, which last year increased its headcount by over 100 people following a new deal with Asda. Last month, the business also took on its first apprentice, supportive of Lorely Burt MP’s campaign to find work for 100 Solihull young people within 100 days.
