BNP Paribas Personal Finance celebrated the success and achievements of individuals throughout the business with its annual Shining Stars Awards on Thursday 22 May.
96 BNP Paribas Personal Finance employees who went above and beyond during 2013 were recognised for their achievements throughout the year, and were acknowledged thanks to their ‘Big Thinking’, and excellent work.
Some of the big wins on the evening went to Paul Lockwood, who received the accolade of CEO Employee of the year, and Michaela Keenan took the prize of CEO Advisor of the year.
The special guest for the awards was Major Chris Hunter QGM, part of the bomb disposal operations in the British armed forces. Major Hunter, an expert in managing and leading in difficult situations, gave an inspiring speech about his time in the forces, and the essential leadership and skills needed in life or death situations.
Stephen Hunt, CEO, said: “Our Shining Stars Annual Awards is a fantastic way to highlight the achievements of individuals within our company. Every year we have employees and teams that go the extra mile, and epitomise the company’s core values that deserve to be recognised.”
